SHAKEDOWN: HANGMANS HILL
Between the hours of 17:00 and 20:00 in the parish of SAINT THOMAS,
the section of road known as HANGMAN’S HILL from its junction with
Highway 2, proceeding in a westerly direction to its junction with
VAUCLUSE.
The stage will start approximately two hundred yards west of the
junction of HOPEWELL and HANGMAN’S HILL travelling in a Westerly
direction and finishing 100 yards before the junction of HANGMAN’S HILL
and VAUCLUSE.
Saturday May 26th, 2007
1. HANGMAN’S HILL / MOUNT MISERY
In the parish of SAINT THOMAS, the section of road known as
HANGMAN’S HILL from its junction with Highway 2, proceeding in a
westerly direction past VAUCLUSE, travelling in a northerly direction
past DUKES and turning left at CANEFIELD, proceeding past MT. MISERY
and finishing at the junction North of DUNSCOMBE.
STAGES 1-4-7: Between the hours of 08:45 and 13:30
The stage will start approximately two hundred yards west of the
junction of HOPEWELL and HANGMAN’S HILL travelling in a Westerly
direction then turning in a Northerly direction at VAUCLUSE and
HANGMAN’S HILL and going in a Northerly direction past DUKES, LION
CASTLE, turning West at the CANEFIELD junction continuing in a
northerly direction turning left again at BLUNTS and finishing two
hundred yards before the MOUNT MISERY/DUNSCOMBE junction.
STAGES 9-11-13: Between the hours of 15:15 and 21:00
The stage will start at a point 200 yards East of the MT.
MISERY/DUNSCOMBE junction, proceeding East to AIRY COT, turning
South-East and proceeding to CANEFIELD then turning right to pass LION
CASTLE & DUKES, turning left at VAUCLUSE in an EASTERLY direction
and finishing two hundred yards from the HANGMANS HILL/HOPEWELL
junction.
2. FRENCH VILLAGE / FOUR HILLS
In the parish of SAINT PETER, the section of road known as MT.
BREVITOR from its junction with HIGHWAY 2A, proceeding in an easterly
direction past FRENCH, PROSPECT and turning West to pass ORANGE HILL
and then Southeast at THE ROCK to pass FOUR HILLS.
STAGES 2-5: Between the hours of 09:15 and 13:15
The stage will start at a point two hundred yards east of FRENCH
VILLAGE, passing West of PROSPECT then turning West at the junction to
pass North of ORANGE HILL then turning Southeast at THE ROCK and
proceeding in a south-easterly direction to pass FOUR HILLS and finish
two hundred yards East of FOUR HILLS before the road.
STAGES 8-10-12: Between the hours of 14:45 and 20:30
The stage will start at a point six hundred yards East of FOUR
HILLS and then proceed past FOUR HILLS turning Northeast at THE ROCK
then past ORANGE HILL PLANTATION to turn North to pass West of PROSPECT
and finish 300 yards before FRENCH VILLAGE.
3. ISOLATION ROAD / DARK HOLE
In the parishes of SAINT JOSEPH and ST. ANDREW, the section of road
starting on ISOLATION ROAD heading South from the last house, past
BELLE HILL and turning East towards HAGGATTS AGRICULTURAL STATION;
Joining HAGGATTS ROAD and turning South to pass the Haggatts
Agricultural Station, turning left at the Roundabout junction of
Highway 2, Haggatts and Bruce Vale, and continuing in a southerly
direction past SENIORS PLANTATION then turning right at the junction
with the road leading to PARKS and finishing on the junction of ST.
SYLVANS (DARK HOLE) ROAD and the road leading South to UPPER PARKS and
North to FRUITFUL HILL.
STAGES 3 & 6: Between the Hours of 9:45 and 14:00
The stage will start on ISOLATION ROAD at a point 100 metres South
of the last house, travelling South to the junction with ST. SIMONS
ROAD and turning East towards HAGGATTS, then turning South at the
junction with HAGGATTS ROAD to continue South; the stage will proceed
in a southerly direction, veering left at round about, passing PARKS
and finishing at a point one hundred yards from the junction of this
road and the roads leading to UPPER PARKS and FRUITFUL HILL.
Sunday May 27th, 2007
4. MAPPS / STEWART HILL
In the parishes of SAINT PHILIP and SAINT JOHN, the section of road
known as MAPPS from its junction with BUSHY PARK ROAD, proceeding in a
northerly direction past THREE HOUSES and THICKETS; then travelling in
an easterly direction to the junction at STEWART HILL, proceeding in a
westerly direction and finishing at the junction with MASSIAH STREET.
STAGES 14-17-20: Between the Hours of 7:15 and 14:30
The stage will start one hundred yards east of the junction of
MAPPS and BUSHY PARK travelling in an easterly direction past THREE
HOUSES park on the right and turning right at THICKETS junction then
travelling in a southerly direction to turn left at the bottom of
STEWARTS HILL; finishing at a point eight hundred yards from the
junction of STEWARTS HILL and MASSIAH STREET.
5. MALVERN / WILSON HILL
In the parishes of SAINT JOHN and SAINT JOSEPH, the section of road
known as WILSON HILL from its junction with SHERBOURNE and CLAYBURY
ROAD, proceeding in a northerly direction past WILSON HILL and EASY
HALL PLANTATION and turning in an easterly direction proceeding towards
MALVERN PLANTATION then turning East and finishing on MALVERN ROAD at a
point WEST of EDEY’S village.
STAGES 15–18-21-23 : Between the Hours of 7:30 to 11:15, and 12:00 to 15:15
The stage will start one hundred yards North-West of WILSON HILL
proceeding NORTH to EASY HALL PLANTATION then turning in an easterly
direction towards MALVERN PLANTATION, turning East at Malvern/Venture
junction and proceeding along MALVERN ROAD then finishing at a point
four hundred yards West of EDEY’S village on Malvern Road.
6. BRIGHTON / COLLETON
In the parishes of SAINT GEORGE and ST. JOHN, the section of road
known as BRIGHTON TENANTRY travelling in a northerly direction to THE
MOUNT; turning right in an easterly direction past BRYER ROAD on the
left, past DRAX HALL, WOODLAND TRIANGLE and TODDS junctions, proceeding
in an easterly direction past WOODLAND and KENDAL PLANTATIONS,
proceeding in a north-easterly direction pass KENDAL/GUINEA and ASHFORD
junctions and the VICTORIA DAIRY, and finishing at the COLLETON
junction.
STAGES 16 & 19: Between the Hours of 7:55 and 11:30
The stage will start one hundred yards north off the BRIGHTON
TENANTRY and BRIGHTON junction travelling in a northerly direction to
THE MOUNT, turning right in an easterly direction passing DRAX HALL,
WOODLAND TRIANGLE, WOODLAND and KENDAL PLANTATIONS, ASHBURY, VICTORIA
DAIRY and finishing at a point four hundred yards west of the COLLETON
junction with Society.
STAGES 22 & 24: Between the Hours of 13:00 and 16:30
The stage will start fifty yards west of the COLLETON / SOCIETY
junction travelling in a westerly direction past COLLETON PLANTATION,
VICTORIA DIARY, ASHFORD, KENDAL PLANTATION, WOODLAND TRIANGLE and then
passing DRAX HALL, BRYER ROAD on the right and turning left in a
southerly direction at THE MOUNT junction with DRAX HALL and finishing
eight hundred yards from the junction of BRIGHTON TENATRY and BRIGHTON
ROAD.
7. DUKES CROSSROADS / VAUCLUSE JUNCTION
In the parish of SAINT THOMAS, the section of road starting at
DUKES CROSSROADS and proceeding South to the T-Junction at the Southern
end of VAUCLUSE RACEWAY.
TRAFFIC CONTROL ONLY: Between the Hours of 14:30 and 17:00
This road will be used to control the flow of spectators,
diverting them to the other entrances to the South. Only competitors
will be allowed access to this closed road to travel south to Vaucluse
Raceway.
